Join Me at the 40th Annual Kentucky Book Festival!

Hello dear readers,

Sorry for the overly excited-sounding headline to this post; I assure you the feeling is genuine. Next month, November 1-6, the 40th Annual Kentucky Book Festival is happening in Lexington, Kentucky. And I am so stoked to take part in it!

The festival is put on by Kentucky Humanities. The lineup this year is incredible, and even includes yours truly moderating a panel on Saturday, November 6, at 4:30 PM: “How to Become a Self-Publishing Superstar” where I will be in conversation with Julian Thomas, author of Black Heart; and Alisha Klapheke, author of Enchanting the Elven Mage.

There are in-person and virtual events scheduled across the week, finishing with a jam-packed Saturday of signings, workshops, and talks at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Lexington. Upwards of 140 authors (including Silas House, Elin Hilderbrand, Bobbie Ann Mason, Crystal Wilkinson, and many more) will be signing books, and programs will occur in two areas on Joseph-Beth’s main level.

Please join us for what promises to be an amazing week and fantastic Saturday celebrating all things books.

Oh and, want to volunteer? They still need hands to help.

Hope to see you there! In the meantime, happy reading and KEEP WRITING!
